Resolutions - Third Quarter Update

I made 7 New Year's Resolutions. My progress to date:

Get $1,500 in my savings account (started with $10)
I'm officially $98.98 away from this goal. It's amazing how quickly you can save money when you are actually making money...

Open a second savings account with a credit union so I can't easily access (i.e. spend) my money
There's still three months left in this year...

Update my website more frequently
The only thing that could stop me from entertaining you, dear fans, would be if Blossom's publicist decided to take legal action and shut down my site. And yes, I've actually been warned to watch out for this from my favorite psycho Blossom fan.

Start jogging Do yoga
I should further append this to say, "Do yoga at least twice a week." With all the travel (and the laziness), I've only been averaging one day a week, if that.

Do more freelance work Make more money
At the end of Q2 I decided I was over freelance work and set my sites on the lottery. Well, I still haven't won the mega million jackpot, but I did land a pretty sweet job that's helping out the bank account pretty nicely.

Take 1st place in a 4SPT game
I've spent $810 in 39 games this year. I've actually been on a bit of a rush these past few weeks, having made a Final Table appearance in 4 of the past 5 games - making me the Fall Season Points Leader. This quarter alone, I've had one second place finish and three third place finishes. I've won $455, which puts me at -$355 for the year. However, just one 1st place finish and I'll basically break even. It's going to happen - I can feel it. I just need 6-time winner Richie Rich to get sick and not show up for one game so he can't suck out on me like he always does and squelch all my hopes, dreams, and resolutions.

Start listening to more music - not rap or pop, but music
I'm a total fan of the Indie Rock and Cool As Folk stations on Yahoo! Music. I haven't listened to one Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, or 50 Cent song in over a month!
