"My brother went to Hayward and his car got stolen."
- To be "JennChantaled," it is typically required that JennChantal is either the direct recipient of your musing or overhears it in public. However, on this day - January 12, 2006 - JennChantal.com is BREAKING ALL THE RULES and quoting something that someone ELSE overheard in passing! Why? Well, there's been a lot of talk about the ghettoness of my hometown of Hayward on JC and when a loyal fan overheard this comment at an LA Starbuck's, he most certainly realized that the evidence presented here has not be an over exaggeration. But more importantly, I have a really bad memory, was up until 2:30am, and can't remember a thing anyone said to me all day (except a hysterical "tubby" comment - but that would have made two back-to-back fat quotes and that just didn't seem right).
wow, I'm responsible for a historical exception. Are you down for a how ghetto was my hometown contest? Because MY hometown was ghetto?
How ghetto was it?
It was so ghetto that when my grandfather suffered a heart attack at a carwash the bystanders didn't help, they just drove off without paying.

Jenn, by breaking your journalistic rules, how do you really know this quote is legit? Isn't a certain fan gunning for multiple Chantys with flagrant intensity? Not accusing... just thinking...

JennChantal strives for the same journalistic integrity seen within US and Star magazines. Will is my "credible source" who allegedly "overheard" this quote. If it's good enough for THE NEWS, it's good enough for me.

Hey! I did not come here to be insulted. I'm here for free gifts and to get an in with your mom in case I need some money (which by the way I do).
While we're throwing veiled accusations around I heard that those pictures of your doggie reading magazines were faked and that your dog can only read Spanish. I'm not saying if it's true, but that's what I heard.

Nothing personal, just watching out for my little sister's journalistic integrity! Her standards are well-founded and I'm satisfied we "sources" will not let her down!
As for Miss Roxie Heart, you are totally right. She only reads Spanish words, but like us, reads the pictures in our news.
