My friend David Nadelberg authored a book called Mortified, based on his popular stage show where adults read from their teenage diary. I was honored to perform in the first show and now have the distinct honor to have my 13 year old angst memorialized in literary form. Check me out on page 249 (and yes, there are pictures of my rooster-do) as well as the 3rd page in (some might call it the dedication page) where an excerpt from my diary serves as the intro to the book.

I DID IT!

Dear Fans,

On November 4th I embarked on a journey with my Japanese buddy Hiro Nakamura to bend the space-time continuum. What an adventure! We traveled back and forth through the month of November and ultimately landed here today, on November 28, with a spotty recollection of the month's events. Time travel can be rough on a digital camera - often wiping my memory card completely clean. And on those days that we did visit, I didn't always talk to people because I didn't want to have a Marty McFly moment where I accidentally changed the course of history.

So here's the best that I can give you with a promise to live in the moment from here on out.

He's on the show to promote a book and has a national stage show, but for some reason they are shocked to learn he's using the Internet...

"I just lived The Wire."

- Jeff, on a break from our 10 hour marathon watching The Wire season 2. He'd just come back from the grocery store where 3 police cars had come to arrest a guy stealing a 24 pack of beer. Santa Monica just doesn't have the same sort of crime season as West Baltimore, I guess...
