"Is it possible that you just packed these items and weren't broken into?"
- Officer McGee, while investigating the break in at our apartment. Yes, we were victims of a theft today. Two iPods, a docking station, digital camera, and cash were stolen from our apartment in the middle of the day. When I came home, our door was locked, our windows were closed, and the blinds were down. There was no sign of forced entry - which is why the cop asked if perhaps we just didn't remember packing this stuff up. I've since noticed that a book of stamps and my tennis shoes are nowhere to be found, which makes me wonder if perhaps the cop was onto something...well, I guess we'll see what I find when we unpack this weekend!
